Welcome to the Big Fat Nerd Journal Tour

Welcome, all, to the Big Fat Nerd Journal Tour! Our goal is to get this journal:

to as many people, cities and countries as possible. What do I do with the journal, you ask yourself. Well, the answer is very simple:

Write in it.

Whatevers on your mind. Doodles, quotes, lyrics, stories, rants, whatever. You can keep the journal for up to two weeks, as long as you make sure to date every page and are able to send it out to the next person on the list. When your finished with the journal, make sure to let me know so I can give your the next person's address. Plus, try to write up a short paragraph or two about your "experience" with the journal, along with a picture of you (or something else!) with the notebook. You can also take the space to promote your blog or anything else you feel the need to plug. It's a great way to get more readers and/or online buddies. And stuff.

If you'd rather remain anonomyous, that's fine. You don't have to use your real name, and you can always email your blog post to me so I can post it.

There is no real limit as to how long you can keep the journal--since there's no way to enforce it--but I like to think ya'all are good, trustworthy folk and won't horde it for the next year only to find it collecting dust under your bed. By signing up, you are confirming that you CAN send it out in a timely manner.

If you live internationally, I cannoy guarantee you'll get the journal very fast. It depends on how many can actually send it to other countries.

The purpose of this project is pretty much up to you and what you decide to write in the notebook, but it can range from funny to sad to short to long to rambling and back again. Just please try not to take up too many pages,

I love this idea! Since you're just starting off, I know that you haven't gotten a FAQ page up, so I have a few to ask.

-I know that we can pretty much write anything in it, but can we include pictures?

-Is it possible to receive it twice?

-Can we decorate the journal?

-What happens once the journal is full? Does the person who has it have to buy a new one and send that one out? What happens to the old one?

Okay, I think that's enough. I am following now, so I patiently await your responses.

We are in! This sounds like a really fun thing to do! Thanks so much! Maybe since we live in NJ also, we can be the first to get it! When are you actually starting to send he journal out? That would be a great thing to know.
Thanks!
